Quality of African Data Centres Operations 2021

Africa Data Centres Association, via its DC Operations & Maintenance Workgroup conducted an anonymous survey to evaluate African Data Centresoperational quality against international best practices especially around critical operations and risk management.

The purpose of this survey is to provide transparency to the global customers, investors and insurance while providing comfort that there are efforts and measures to close any gaps while giving confidence in future expansion plans into Africa.

The results of the survey have been aggregated and enabled the Workgroup to develop this white paper on Gap Analysis for global expectations with advice to improve the overall quality of Data Centresin Africa. As a follow up the same survey with more detail will be conducted next year to monitor.
